Incident Response (Handle Security Incidents and Services) (HSIS) is one of the 3 compulsory Basic Licensing Units (BLUs) required for a security license in Singapore. This WSQ course will equip learners with the knowledge and ability to handle security incidents and services.

Handle fire-related incidents
Handle crime-related incidents
Handle medical or first-aid related incidents
Handle bomb or IED (Improvised Explosive Device) threat incidents
Contain incidents of damage to facilities and equipment
Search, apprehend and arrest suspect
Give evidence in court
Entry Requirements
Minimum Secondary 2 education or equivalent; or
Able to read, write, speak and understand English at WPL Level 3
*Individuals not meet the entry requirements will be subjected to an interview before acceptance.
Course Duration (incl ast)
3 days (23 hours)
Day 1: 8.30am – 5.30pm (Classroom Training Hours)
Day 2: 8.30am- 5.30pm (Classroom Training Hours)
Day 3: 8.30am – 2.30pm (Classroom Training Hours)
Assessment (Day 3): 2.30pm start (2 hours)
Assessment:
The assessment will be conducted by POLWEL assessors.
Certification:
WSQ Certificate of Attainment from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
